National SCRABBLE® Association Club 171 Our regular meeting is 5:30-10pm every Tuesday at the Chevy Chase Community Center. Please bring equipment if possible and contribute $1 toward photocopying, etc. Paired rounds begin at 5:30, about 6:15, 7:10, 8:05, and at 9pm sharp. If you arrive during a round, you will face a short wait for a game, but can partake of the snacks as you wait. Results from past play at Chevy Chase are shown below. This was the first of our 9 summer events that was fully rated and held outside Chevy Chase. Three of the four division winners were not from our club, but it was great to have two Pennsylvanians and a Coloradan come in and show us how it's done. Or else they were lucky. Former members Teresa Schaeffer and Rebecca Lambert returned to join us. Thanks to Carole Denton and Brian Bailey for helping direct the event.
